After volunteering for numerous events, I have learnt that volunteers are an essential part of an event. Volunteers help to create the atmosphere of an event. If volunteers seem disinterested in the task given, the public may get influenced by their attitude and feel discouraged from participating in the event. Alternatively, with the volunteers showing the right attitude, the public would be more willing to participate. 

 

Another essential part of an event is having a contingency plan. Contingency plans are a basic practice for planning. It reduces the risk of uncertainty and acts as a backup to ensure that the event runs smoothly.
